Welcome back to another chapter in the great Wordle saga where I tell you the answer if you’re having trouble getting it yourself. And I think a lot of people may have trouble with this one. It’s pretty hard!
I used to think that Wordle was harder on the weekends, but I have since learned it just isn’t true, and it’s just still going from the same answer list in a row, which I doubt the NYT has specifically designed to be harder every five days. But who knows.
An Introduction to Wordle
- For those new to the game, read this Wordle primer before you start playing and learn about how this fad got started.
- Then, if you want some advanced tactics to get those low guess answers, you can read the Wordle Tips and Tricks guide here.
Today’s Wordle #344 Answer And Hint
Before we begin I will have a spoiler warning here in case you came here by accident and do not want the answer. If you just want a hint, today’s word is a noun, and it’s a place. Not like, a proper noun place, but a place all the same. That’s all you get. Ready? Okay.
The answer is…
Bayou
NYT
Bayou!
Yes like, the Louisiana Bayou. Here’s the official definition of bayou: (in the southern US) a marshy outlet of a lake or river. I guess it’s a US only thing? Did not realize that.
In any case, here’s how I got there. I started with CRANE, which got me the A. I used AUDIO as another vowel hunter, only to realize there were a lot of vowels to hunt, O and U as well. So what exactly has an A, O and U in it? It took me a while but after turning it over in my head, BAYOU was my next guess, and here we are. I got lucky, but that was certainly a hard one.
